It still sucks.
That center console storage is dumb.

I consider myself to be an aficionado of car storage compartments, so I’m going to require further evidence.

What is wrong with it? The G80 is one of the best looking sensible cars in the market right now.

It’s worse than a Hyundai Azera. That is it’s biggest strike. The materials are the same or worse, the ergonomics are worse, the option list is worse, the acceleration is worse, the rear leg room is worse, and the interior trim looks worse. Even the base Genesis should not in any way be worse than Hyundai’s top sedan, that’s not how to do a flagship brand. Also, I hate the Azera. So that says even more about the G80. Sure, it looks great, but it drives like shit. And no, that isn’t a “well it isn’t sporty enough” claim, because that’s not what it’s supposed to be. The engineers/bean counters had no clue what they wanted either of the two cars to be. They created two cars that handle terribly, while being way more uncomfortable than anything that is not sport tuned has a right or need to be. Also, they both rattle/squeak more than my Fiesta.

The Genesis logo is the only automotive logo worse than the Hyundai logo.

It opens both sides, so they tilt up on the side, blocking the view from either seat.

That’s extraordinarily dumb.

Yes, yes it is.

Handle terribly, or terrifyingly? From what I’ve heard, it’s a bit of both.

Eh, it’s just bad. It’s not scary, other than the lack of feel.
